MOONAH CLASSIC 2010

The Moonah Classic returns to Moonah Links Resort for a third consecutive year between 03-07 February 2010.

To be staged on the acclaimed Open Course, the Moonah Classic is a joint venture partnership between the PGA of Australia and the Handbury Group.  Co-sanctioned by the US Nationwide Tour, the event offers a prize pool of US650,000.00.

The Nationwide Tour is the secondary series on the lucrative US PGA circuit and provides a unique opportunity for Australian players to test their skills against international players.  This is the only event on Australian soil that conducts this sanctioning with the Nationwide Tour.

2010 will see the launch of the inaugural Moonah Amateur Classic.  To be staged in conjunction with the Moonah Classic, the Moonah Amateur Classic offers Amateur golfers a 'once in a lifetime opportunity to step into the shoes of a tournament professional'.

A three day competition, the amateur event will include a variety of playing formats with amateurs playing for the inaugural Moonah Amateur Classic Champion Trophy.  The amateur field is strictly limited with only 90 spots available.  For further information or to book your spot in the Moonah Amateur Classic refer to the attached 'Moonah Amateur Classic Amateur Player Package'.
